Website: Oceanis revamped, new look, new conception, same old school sailing!

A revamp is always a challenge, because you need to create (or to recreate) something much more close to the principal matter. Challenge is quite more difficult if time’s up and you have to melt three wordpress themes into one.
Then, finally, Oceanis is still online with major changes in its contents and image. Only one thing’s still the same: passion for sailing.

Website: a fresh new CSS website for Grotto Baldovana

After a couple of years I felt the need to renew the Grotto Baldovana website; actually they asked me to and really quickly!
It’s basically a graphic site with few information, so my choice has fell onto a pure CSS website dedicated to the alimentary sector, with a special eye on easy navigation.

10Q: meet Elena “Helenchan” Gargiulo, Pia Devota al Webdesign

Dopo Laura.. ecco Elena.

Website Revamp: Arti-Marziali.ch / Analisys

Then, there’s a new project to develop: the website of Arti Marziali Mendrisio.
Its old layout is clean and simple, it is perfect for the oriental discipline and art but we feel it’s a bit obsolete: it’s quite static (except for the dynamic scrolling menu) and it is hard and time costy to update page by page evertime there’s an incoming event.
So the ideas were mainly two:
1) revamp totally the website with more graphics and more content in order to be surfable and best appreciated by users, using low res graphics …

JQuery: how to present animated slides

So often we need to make up some animations, some images rotating or a presentations that requires a bit of animation; Flash seems to be the only way but if you are, like me, a person who hates Flash (it’s indeed heavy sometimes) you’ll love this little tutorial on how to set up animated slides using JQuery.
What is JQuery anyway?
It’s a javascript library that allows you to have a whole serie of functions to be used in such easy way in every webpage without loosing time nor loosing appeal.
