Che ci faccio qui?
Probabilmente sei arrivato qui googlando, cercando qualche immagine su Google Images. Forse sei passato dalla mia pagina su deviantART o forse sei arrivato qui per caso.
In ogni modo, ora ci sei e non ne uscirai molto presto!
Perche’ alcuni post sono in doppia lingua?
Ho cominciato in lingua inglese, che e’ la mia seconda lingua madre, ma piano piano sono passata al bilinguismo fino ad arrivare all’italiano. I post in doppia lingua mi erano molto simpatici ma il tempo per scriverli si e’ drasticamente ridotto e, confrontandomi con community di lingua italiana, ho preferito rimanere sulla lingua principale.
Alcuni post, cosi’ come le voci di menu e le pagine, sono in doppia lingua; questo per dare modo anche ai visitatori esterofili di capire di cosa si parla su ./lsd, di conoscere il mio lavoro e, magari, di lasciare un commento.
Ci sono risorse gratuite?
Ovviamente si!
Hai gia’ provato a guardare nella pagina dei goodies? Troverai wallpaper e sfondi per iPhone. Aggiornero’ quella sezione quando possibile, ma nel frattempo ci sono sempre le gallerie da poter consultare e i tanti post che riguardano sfondi e wallpaper rilasciati gratuitamente.
Se sei tanto brava perche’ non hai fatto un sito “normale”?
A questa domanda ho risposto nella sezione about, ma voglio ripeterlo: mi piace fare i siti, usare i CSS, sistemare le cose, impazzire con una classe particolare e via dicendo; ma quello che proprio non riesco a fare e’ disegnare un layout e tenermelo per almeno 10 giorni. Immancabilmente vedo altri layout, mi ispiro e ricomincio a lavorarci sopra.
Con WordPress non succede: una volta stabilito il tema non puoi cambiare cosi’ spesso a meno di non perdere un sacco di tempo per incastonare tutto perfettamente.
E poi chi ha detto che sono tanto brava? =)
Ma esattamente che fai di lavoro?
Non sono una web designer pura; non sono una web master pura. Sono un designer grafico con una spiccata attitudine per il 3D. Ho lavorato, tra i tanti, per la Wizards creando un paio di personaggi per un MMORPG, ho un portfolio clienti dalle richieste veramente bizzarre ma che hanno regalato un sacco di soddisfazioni.
Faccio pubblicita’ digitale, creo piccoli mondi, stationery e office packs.
A mano non so disegnare, sono davvero una frana..
Perche’ la pubblicita’ sul tuo sito e’ minore di tanti altri siti?
Quando vado sui siti “famosi” mi ritrovo sempre con mille slot pubblictari: alcuni pieni, altri vuoti. E, a me, stanno altamente sulle scatole. I box della pubblicita’ sono quasi tutti uguali e non ci sono grandi innovazioni; inoltre e’ stressante arrivare alla fine di un post e aver contato 7 box pubblicitari..
Ho scelto di lasciare la pubblicita’ nella sidebar, privilegiando quella non a pagamento (gli slots in basso sono tutti per il circuito interno) ai box di AdSense e di ProjectWonderful. Tra i post non ci sono pubblicita’ e nemmeno nei feed RSS che, per rimanere snelli, non hanno nemmeno le immagini.
Suppongo che la mia scelta possa essere criticabile dai SEO guru o da quelli che fanno milioni con la pubblicita’ sui blog, ma io sto bene cosi’ e mi piace pensare che chi visita il blog lo trovi un po’ come la soffitta di Pippo: piena di tutto ma niente pubblicita’.
Ma le donnine che fai sono sempre nude?
La maggior parte e’ senza veli, e’ vero (e ora dite che vi dispiace!), e’ il mio stile, il mio modo di interpretare la femminilita’ e l’universo dei cromosomi monogameti XX.
Solo donne perche’ hanno molte piu’ sfumature degli uomini, perche’ sono piu’ difficili da modellare, perche’ sono tutte uguali ma tutte diverse.
Perche’ non hai una newsletter?
Anche su questo punto mi faro’ criticare: io non mi iscrivo alle newsletter. Perche’ ho gia’ un sacco di email da spulciare ogni giorno e non ho il tempo e nemmeno la voglia di leggere un sommario di cose che sono comunque online.
Quindi non creo la mia newsletter, credo che non riuscirei a mettere insieme piu’ di quattro righe senza stufarmi.

Posso usare le immagini che hai sul sito?
Eh no!
Non le puoi usare, sono protette da SafeCreative e sono di mia proprieta’; ma se proprio decidi di usarle ti pregherei di citare la fonte e di chiedere il mio permesso. Divento davvero feroce quando vedo delle immagini usate senza il permesso.
Ma LSD non e’ una droga?
No! E’ una sostanza psichedelica. Ed e’ anche l’acronimo di Liquid Sky Design.

Multilanguage posts are there, why?
Started this blog in english as it’s my second native tongue and slowly faded into bilingual posts until italian took the most part of it. Multilanguages post are nice to me but I truly do not have the time to write in both languages; moreover I realized keeping in touch with italian communities was much easier if writing in italian.
Some posts however, as some menu entries and pages, are still in english or double language, that’s because I feel occasional visitors from abroad can understand where they are and what’s the threading on ./lsd and what my job is all about and leave a comment too.
Are there any freebies around?

Did you already tried the goodies page? There you’ll find some iPhone backgrounds and some wallpapers. I will update that page as often as I can, in the meanwhile you can browse the galleries and search for the freebie within the posts.
Then, you say you’re so good and how comes you didn’t set up a “normal” site?
Already answered this question in the about section but I feel the need to reinforce: I do love building up web sites, use the CSS, manage and arrange spaces and things, drove crazy just to implement classes and so on; but I’m unable, true, to draw a layout for my own use and keep it for at least 10 days! I surf and see some wonderful inspiration things and I start over from scratch.
Using WordPress it’s much safer for me: once I’ve settled my theme there’s no need to upgoing with further work, unless I have plenty of time to rearrange every little thing on it.
Then, who said I’m so good? =)
So, what’s exactly your job?
Well, I’m not a pure web designer; I’m not a pure web master. I’m a graphic designer with a shiny attitude for 3D graphics. Worked, over all, for Wizards creating a couple of MMORPG characters, and I have a wide customer portfolio with kinda bizarre tasks which gave me quite a lot satisfaction.
I do digital advertising, I create micro worlds, stationery and office packs.
Actually I’m not that good into hand drawing..
Why you do not pay much attention to your website sponsored advertising?
It happens, when browsing “well-known” websites, to see so many sponsoring slots – some even empty – and I hate them so much! Advertising boxes are all the same and there are only few of them I consider innovative; therefore it’s kind of stressing going to the end of a post and have counted 7 different sponsored advertisements..
I choose to leave ad boxes on the sidebar, getting into favour for the non-paid ones (you can see lower slots are all dedicated to the inner circle) instead of AdSense box and ProjectWonderful boxes. In between the posts you won’t find any advertisements, even RSS feed are minimal, thus there are no images.
I suppose my choice could be objectionable by those SEO guru and those who pay the bills only with advertisements but I’m stuck with it and I feel fine thinking who’s coming in can think of being in Goofy’s upstairs: full of everything but the ads.
You always draw naked women?
Most part of it. That’s my style, my own way to render the feminine intimacy and the wide variety of XX cromosomes universe.
Women, true, because they have many more undertones than men, because they are a bit too difficult to get rendered, because they are all the same but all different.
Don’t you have a newsletter?
So, even this point could be objectable: I usually don’t subscribe to newsletters. Have plenty of mails to read everyday and I don’t have time nor will to read things that are already ready to be read online.
So I don’t have a newsletter, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to stick together more than four lines without getting bored myself.

You’re not allowed to use them, they are all protected by SafeCreative and ae my own property; if you burn to use one of them you have to ask for my written permission and you oughta always cite the original source. I got really angry when I see my images used without permission.
